Our Founder, Randy Trau, has a lifetime knowledge of the International Food Industry. Because of his passion & commitment to help others, he has also been involved helping schools and places of worship to develop and support, in his words, “Kids and Kids at Heart.” In 2015 he used his creative vision to blend his two passions, and the Frutro Brand journey began. Utilizing the relationships developed in his company, International Food Specialists (IFS), he traveled to Costa Rica, known for it’s tropical environment and healthy population where overall obesity is low due to the “cleaner diet.” Randy utilized the help of Henry Chou’s company, Valle Metropolitano, to develop a healthy formula to give “Kids & Kids at Heart,” a healthier alternative to snacks. It was important to Randy to eliminate unhealthy ingredients such as high-fructose corn syrup, artificial preservatives and animal by-products.

Frutro Brand was born as an International Company, the first product is “Jelly Snack Cups” and is made with natural ingredients, including seaweed extract, which is a renewable sustainable resource, & only 5 grams of real sugar. New additions to the Frutro Brand will be coming soon.
